On Day 3, take a 1.5-hour drive to the ancient village of Maaloula, where Aramaic the language of Jesus christ is still spoken. Continue to Sednaya, a revered pilgrimage site known for the Our Lady of Sednaya Monastery, dating back to the 6th century. Bosra

Head south to Bosra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former Roman capital of Arabia. This old city boasts one of the best-preserved Roman theaters in the world, built entirely of black basalt stone and once capable of holding over 15,000 spectators. Walk among ancient temples, colonnaded streets, and early Islamic structures. Bosra’s mix of Roman, Byzantine, and Islamic architecture is a true testament to Syria’s layered history.
